The Role:
The position involves representing the company before state regulatory agencies. The position will also involve providing legal advice and counsel in related matters. The position is located in Connecticut.
Please not, this company has offices in MA, NH, and CT. You can work hybrid in any location, but preference is for CT.
Responsibilities:
- Background handling administrative appeals from agency decisions is a plus.
- The successful candidate must be self-motivated and be able to assume independent responsibility for litigation and advice for complex regulatory and other legal matters, working closely with in-house legal resources, company management and, in certain limited cases, outside counsel.
- Being a good team player, well-organized, and able to identify business-oriented solutions to legal problems are important qualities to ensure success.
- The candidate must also demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills and legal research abilities.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- JD
- CT Bar
- Team leadership
- 10 years of experience
- PUC experience in the Northeast
